Going to put an order in this evening and would like a last minute run-over. It's an office build for the rents with the budget around £450.
At first I had thought of getting an FM2 mobo and decent APU (Kaveri) so that there was an option for some light gaming and X-firing with a GPU. However, I've since been thinking a bit more and I'm now more convinced by a good PSU and 1150 mobo with a G3258. The CPU will, for the time being, handle media (1080p video will be the most stress it'll endure) happily. It also has good OC potential if I decide to add in a GPU - I could hopefully learn how to OC on it and apply the knowledge gained on my 4690k in time when required. If further down the line I wanted more CPU power I could swap it out for another as the mobo and PSU are decent. Does this sound sensible?
I'm also thinking in future I can swap my PSU and mobo for theirs. I built my first computer this summer and a few of my components could be better.

I have an SSD for the OS. The case is small, it is mainly for office use. If it was needed for gaming I'd most probably get a new case when getting a GPU as airflow does seem terrible. Might also try my hand at modding with this case. Have access to a workshop and it sure seems like this case would do with some more holes drilled in.
