Hi guys

I'm upgrading my U2311H. It's mostly used for photo editing, gaming and blu-ray (in that order). I'm finding the res a bit cramped for photo editing (especially with menu bars and palettes on screen), but I prefer a 16:9 aspect ration in games and films. The only way I can see to get the extra real-estate is to upgrade to a 27".

I use Lightroom 4, DXO 8 and Elements (mostly for Color Efex Pro and Topaz B+W), which are all 8bit. My desk's at 45 degrees to a window, so anything glossy is ruled out too.

I think I've narrowed it down to 2 choices for non-glossy, sRGB- Asus PB278Q or Dell U2713HM. Any thoughts/suggestions? I've heard a few bad things about qc on the Dell and it looks like the Asus has less input lag...

Owned the Asus, would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone!

Noticed no input lag whatsoever and the colour reproduction on the PLS panel was exquisite.

Backlight bleed was next to non existent and the contrast ratio was very good indeed.

Haven't seen or used the Dell so can't comment :D
