My current system is in my sig, im going to add all the below in the next few weeks

Dell Ultrasharp 2407WFP 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor - for hi res gaming;

HIS ATI Radeon HD 2900 XT SILENT Heatpipe 512MB x 2 for crossfire and to cope with 1920x1080 @ max everything and dx10 lovllyness;

Intel Core 2 Quad Extreme Edition QX6800 "LGA775 Kentsfield" 2.93GHz - all that power :D

Will this all just be able to slot rite in and work? and what cooler will i need to be able to get the quad running at 3.0+ ?

Why not just go for a Q6600 or Xeon 3220 and save yourself a lot of cash, there is a good chance they will overclock to a similar sort of limit.

For the cooler I'd suggest either a Noctua NH-U12F or Tuniq Tower, either are great for air cooling but if you want water/phase etc you will need expert advice which I can't help with.

Do you know if your motherboard supports 1333mhz FSB as I think that is required for quad core. :)
