Absoloutly sick of products not working to specification

That sounds like a lot of bad luck. At least you're buying from a reputable vendor. Imagine how much worse it could be

My mATX sniper isn't with either, was a ****ing pain to take out with all the watercooling i had!

Stripping out a motherboard that you have spent time wiring and putting cooling etc on is a real pain, it will be my third time once a new board arrives at some point.
Wish i had not bought the z87 sniper g1 ......

That is one of the reasons I only buy premium models.
They fail much less often.
Yeah, they can cost even twice as much but give you extra features and that bit of piece of mind.
Having said that, VTX isn't really known for the quality of their products, mostly for lo price, but zi am surprised with gigabyte :(

Tell me about it took a few months gathering parts a day to put the loop and parts in system run fine for a week and then the board developed a fault :(

I was so annoyed after stripping it all down i flushed all w/c parts out and sold it all! when my board comes back the system is going to run on air cba with it all

I seem to spend more time fixing problems or hunting them down than i have used the system since novemner.... This was supposed to be for entertainment not stress induced illness lol

Totally agree, certainly seems components now have a far less QC than a few years ago.
Back in the day I used to totally abuse the hardware I ran, XP2500 @2.5ghz & a 9800 pro :D

I can remember pumping 2.2v through my 2700 thunderbird cpu to get it benchmarking @2.5ghz, probably still working now!!.

No matter what I do I cannot get the drivers to stop crashing with my new 290s.

It has to be software and not hardware.

I dont even know anymore.
I could replace the mobo and have the same issue.

This mobo has been nothing but an ******* to every card ive got.,

Its soooo frustrating, sat here on a 3 year old laptop because my machine spends more time down than up...... Has to be a QC issue somewhere, hope things pick up soon for every one.

I think sooner or later everyone has a run of bad luck, l built a new PC for my son a few years back the PSU a HX620 went pop and took out the mobo + CPU.

At that time there was a bad batch of HX620'S so it was pot luck whether you got one or not, but OCUK replaced the whole lot no worries at all.

Since them a bad stick of memory and a mobo faliure, thats life with building PC building. I will always do a self build nothing like the feeling when you boot up first time with no problems.

Install your OS and it oveclocks fine as well, a great feeling job done.:D

Oh yes i totally agree self custom builds is very rewarding and its good to have the knowledge to trouble shoot and work out what piece of hardware is at fault etc.
Challenging at times though thats for sure, i end up doing extra extra cleaning and work when i could be having a blast on a game for a bit lol
