Absolute best bittorrent client?

I'm wary of adding programs to my recently freshly formatted and installed Windows 7 - but if there's one piece of software I do need, it's a bittorrent client. I used to have a variety of programs over the ages, like utorrent, bitcomet, the official bittorrent client, and so on. It's been a while now though, and I hear some clients download faster than others.

What's considered to be the best client out there?

I use Bitcomet, not for any particular reason though.

Why is uTorrent better?

uTorrent, although Transmission has it's benefits, notably it can be installed on a tomato router and run completely via a web interface, for anywhere in the world So can rTorrent, but I don't like it
