Right. I have a decent system as per sig. However, it is all installed in a Fractal Torrent Full Tower Case. Brilliant case, fantastic airflow. No issues.

However. It is massive and I am redesigning my living room at the moment to a be a bit more modest. I was thinking of moving the components into a smaller case but I have a 360 AIO for the CPU and the 3090FE isn't exactly small.

Moving to a smaller case will require new CPU cooler, new PSU as mine is ATX so SFX will be required for a notable reduction, plus the case itself.

This lead me onto an idea. I need a side/coffee table for the new layout. What if I found a decent sized coffee table on marketplace that essentially has a 'box top' that fits the measurements of the 3090 height wise and just make the required cuts/holes, adding mesh where needed for airflow. Paint the coffee table and boom. PC in a subtle box.

Has anyone attempted anything like this? Aside from measuring accurately for motherboard screws, then PSU, fans etc it seems not too difficult?

Any opinions appreciated. Worst case if I get a cheap £20 coffee table with the required size. Drill the holes etc and it just doesn't work not much effort wasted aside from time but leaning towards am pretty sure I can make it workable?

Your idea is doable.
Will need some circular saw bits for the fan holes.
Also any motherboard tray as the ones for king would do. That would allow do secure all in place nicely.
Or go for a discreet smaller case. Jonsbo D41 would work.
