I have just bought an NDS, and I have only 1 game for it - mario kart,
can anyone reccomend some games without which my NDS life would be incomplete?
I was thinking resident evil, anyone have anymore?

My son has Animal Crossing, as do his mates... the missus picked it up and has become hooked on it now too.

It's not at all like Resident Evil, but I think it's the DS equivalent of crack cocaine.

mario kart, metroid prime, new mario bros, advance wars, diddy kong racing, pokemon and castlevania. Start there and then see what style of game you fancy. Resi is a good game but not a must have.

What's Diddy Kong Racing like? Is it basically a port of the N64 one, or is it a completely new version? Either way I'd be happy, I loved the original.

All depends what you're into but I've played and really enjoyed the following games:

Castlevania: Dawn Of Sorrow (not had the time to play the 2nd one yet)
Super Mario DS
Mario Kart DS
Mario and Luigi: Partners In Time
Animal Crossing: Wild World
Elite Beat Agents
Metroid Prime: Hunters
Sonic Rush
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
Advance Wars: Dual Strike

Actually, the list of great NDS games goes on and on and on... no wonder the PSP can't keep up.

the whole bratz concept is just wrong on so many levels.
Sorry not bratz it is Winkz? Some fairy thing.
What is the concept of bratz and at what levels is it wrong? My mother hates bratz I don't know much about it.
What bothers me more is my 4 year old sees some things as being boy things and some things as being girl things. She only started talking this way since she started school.
I spent several hours with her trawling the net for pictures of female astronauts, train drivers, pilots and the like to prove to her that she can be and do anything she wants in life.

Bratz are much like barbie dolls, except you dress them up to look like hookers.

LOL

Yeah, if you thought barbie and sindy (or was it cindy?) were bad, the bratz are just totally wrong. Barbie was a spoilt preppy young adult, the bratz are supposed to be the same except younger (like 12 or something?), more spoilt, and get an anne summers dressing range.

How do i know this? because the adverts used to annoy me at uni.

Oh Nintendogs is pretty cool, now they've got a whole range of animal games, think of it as tamogotchi except less realtime, and they don't die.

Pheonix Wright 1 + 2
Advanced Wars: Dual Strike
Megaman Battle Network
Bomberman
New Super Mario Bros
Sonic Rush
Brain Academy

Pokemon!!! D/P

I could keep going, but the ones above are enough to keep you interested for a long time.
