Absolute scum

Just spoken to a friend who is partially sighted. His guide dog was shot this morning . It seems to be a flesh wound only and she is still able to walk but they need to wait for the swelling to reduce before they can x-ray and ascertain the type of pellet used. Only then will they know what action to take.

I just can't understand who could do that kind of thing. To see a rugged chap in his fifties reduced to sobbing through the actions of some evil yob is so distressing. I simply don't get it at all

Presumably a totally random attack although due to the nature of Paul's disability there is no chance whatsoever of him identifying the person or persons involved - of course it was not even immediately obvious to him what had happened. It has been reported to the police so we shall see what happens.
