Hello. I brought Assassins Creed: Revelations two days ago and im currently playing online. Some people get less kills than me but more points. Also when I die it says "..... killed you for 600 points" I only ever get 100 maybe 150 points a kill.

Any body know why?

/Thanks

I've not played it much, but you get different points based on how you kill someone and whether you are incognito.

The more skilful the assassination, the more points to the assassin.
Those players who just run around stabbing anything that moves and running around on rooftops in full sight of everyone get less points for a kill.
It's just an extension of the game, if you play the game sneakily then take that to the multiplayer and watch those levels rocket up :)

You have to build up your incognito meter and perform "stylish" kills to achieve higher scores. Sometimes the situation calls for a charging kill and escape just to scrape the 100 point base kill score, but where possible blend into crowds, stalk your victim or perform haybale kills et.c. to boost your score.

Dont do the nooby thing of constantly running or sprinting, or sticking to rooftops. You look like a fool and give yourself away to the people hunting you. only run when trying to close in on your target, but only when they dont have line of sight on you. Also be aware of how many people are after you. Listen out for whispers. If you hear whispers then someone is closing in for a kill on you, so run!

Hope that helps :)

Ha, oddly I started playing this (SP) again last night from scratch, some reason I am enjoying it a lot more this time round, preparing my self for ACIII :D

Trying my hardest to get through this game!

I love the Assassins Creed series but this one is really grating on me.
So many things in it that they didnt need to add!

I would've preferred it if it had been left a year and then AC3 came out but ahh well.

The main team have been working on ACIII from the moment ACII left the door.

The smaller Ubisoft teams started working on the 2 spin off's. Which as you say, they just added so much cack it's unreal. All the micro management, by some of the writeups on what peple have seen on ACIII, it's nothing like that.

I think they have spat out too many of these. I have AC2 and finished the main game but have some DLC i havent played yet, Brotherhood not really got anywhere near finished. The new one played for 5 minutes, AC3 will skip until its too cheap.

I know im a slow gamer so to speak but it seems they have come out in a rush and really apart from the story im not seeing much difference.

Did you not read what I just said, the 3 main games AC I,II and III are all done by the same main, big team. ACIII will be the longest development time out of all 3 of them. Brotherhood and Revelations were done by smaller teams of Ubisoft, nothing to do with ACIII.

So, ACIII will be much more like II rather than Bro/Rev...

Please read before basing assumptions on speculation.
