AC68U packed up what to replace with ?

So my RT-AC68U has packed up. I purchased it from PC world and having just spoken to them they are going to refund me tonight luckily its just short of a year old by 7 days !!!

So i will have a full refund to buy what ever i wish with. So what router should it buy ? I loved the 68u the VPN worked great and port forwarding was a breeze. The QOS was a bit naff but there we go.

I Run a couple of game servers and have 3 servers currently and about 14 devices connected via Lan plus half a dozen wireless bits. after somthing really good the RT87U looks like a good replacement ?

any one really happy with a premium router ?

interesting way of doing it, Yes i have 2 gigabit switches in network. I have never seen the edgerouter before will have to look into it a little. I have a BT homehub 5 kicking about that i could use for wireless access tbh as you say its only Ipads/phones that use the wireless and my laptop but no big files regularly.
