A potential feeding frenzy but WTH :D

Does anyone have any none tyre snob comments IE are they a decent but not very well known mid range tyre or are they avoid at all costs terrible?

There is a good reason why I'm asking which is I live near an alloy wheel whole sale place which sell to the public and they generally provide these tyres with the wheels

Thanks

I still thought my kumho's were impressive 6k miles in but its still a good point

Pugheaven this is mostly for my own amusement, its a semi serious thread I knew exactly how the replies would go based on the posters but at the same time I was curious for some genuine posts, you're right though most of tge time you just have to try these things, like I say the kumho's were really good

A serious response.

Accelera tyres are not going to be the best. they will do the job and meet minimum requirements but ultimately will not offer any benefits to you other than being cheaper.

you have a nice car relentless, put some decent rubber on it.

what size in particular are you looking at and budget per corner?

the wheels are £400 so about £80ish a corner 215/40/18's I think is the right size?

Thanks

80 quid a corner is a very low budget for 18 inch tyres. If that's your max tyre budget then either get smaller wheels or consider how prudent spending 400 quid on wheels is if you then have to reduce tyre budget.

ok, so if I up my budget to £800 for the lot is that going to get me some decent mid range tyres?

The budget is low because I was after second hand fn2 wheels but I can wait another month if its the difference between crap and decent tyres

My bad it must be 225, it will be whatever the standard OEM FN2 fitment is, sorry :o

Thanks for the link rjkoneill, I cant remember my details so I'll have a proper look when I get home, hopefully they are local!
