Accelero S1 v2 question

can anyone tell me how much higher (roughly) the heatsink is than the card? an 8800gt to be exact.

ie in this pic..

is it about 1.5 inches? (can anyone measure for me?)

On the Arctic site it states 138x215x33 & has pics of it mounted to a 8800 from the other side. A zoom in may be able to be scaled & measured but if your talking about mm clearance it may not be accurate enough.

37mm clearance

the motherboard tray is removable so as long as it's less than 37mm fitted it's ok (that piece of metal isnt on the tray itself)

the case is a ATCs CM110, so I REALLY don't want to chop it unless i have to

Have you considered the Zalman offering ? I have the "MSI Zilent" but it is available as a retro fit. It is very very quite & more compact than the Accelero. 63 is the highest temp I have seen after ages of gaming & that was with high ambient temps.

I had a Rev2 bolted to a X1950 housed in a CM Black Widow. The top of the Accelero was touching the side panel window and making it bow out a bit. Very tight fit.
