Acceptable backlight bleed

hmm will have a play with the settings but it did seem quite bad but then ive not really played with a really good screen to know the difference, although my cheap Sammy wasn't any better, as an aside 144hz pure silk don't know why I didn't do this before

What I will say is that was in absolute worse conditions lights off black background with a frankly awful nexus 4 camera phone it isn't anywhere near that bad in real life

What are you currently using at the moment?

going from 60 to 144hz is brilliant not a brick to the face difference but great non the less, its more subtle fluid changes everything feels quicker cause the display is quicker. Its difficult to describe, one things for certain I wouldnt go back to 60hz now
 
Not that I could tell although there arnt many games that drop below much that on my system anyway, fps and hz doesnt seem to be directly related in that way I run vsync on most of my games and running rage metro and borderlands 2 was silky smooth and very sharp compared to my cheap samsung
 
The other thing that surprised me about this screen was how heavy it is compared to the old sammy a good sign its well made and solid
