8800GT
83
70
60
60 - Accelero S1 passive

Nvidia System monitor is reporting
Core 540MHz
Mem 792MHz (I assume that's just reading one way cause it's supposed to be 1600MHz)
Shader 1295MHz

Currently making 3,728 PPD according to FahMon.

Hit 90°C earlier then I turned the fan up to 100% so now it's sounds like a jet engine but holds steady at 69°C.

Down to 65°C now cause I opened the window for a few minutes.

i have a 8800gts 512, sits at 60-67 depending on system temp under full load, will be upgrading to a S1 next month. oddly though i removed one of the 5 1/2 bay blanks which reduced the temp from 78 (highest ever and 70- 75 av) to the current temps, also reducing the CPU temp, which really throws the theory or airflow route through the case being important out the window. just means more cat hairs in there now.

That does kinda prove the air flow theroy...

Convection will carry the warm air up towards the top of the case where your PSU, rear fan and top fan will exhaust it but there's no reason it wouldn't also follow natural convection currents as well. Also a lot of people have the GPU exhaust as well.

Cool thank's :)

I use Nvidia System monitor because I have N680i chipset.

I find that my temps very slowly increase so you have to leave it running at 100% for a good while to get an accurate reading but 54 seems a pretty good temp to me.

I can only average 66°C with the GPU fan and my 360mm side fan at 100% so the PC is unbelieveably noisey.

Will be purchasing a water cooling loop for CPU and GPU though so soon sort that out :D
