Hey,
Anyone here an Expert in MS Access?
I am in need of some help if poss. At work we have a Access Database for all Archived Files. 15000 files. The tables have lots of fields such as FileNo, BoxNo, FileName, StartDate, EndDate etc etc. We also have checkboxes to indicate if the box HAS to be kept OR if the FILE has been destroyed.
We want to add a Checkbox for BOX destroyed. We want it to work so that if we click BoxDestroyed on say FileNo 540 in Box 10 we want it to update every file in Box10 and set it to BoxDestroyed = Yes. We also need it in reverse - eg If someone clicked it by accident.
Is there a easy way of doing this or will it be a long dragged out process. I would have thought it would be easier to use SQL statements? Instead of the Access Querie wizard.
Has anyone done anything like this and can give me a hand?
Many Thanks,
James
