Access gained to car without the keys

Anyone aware of possible security problems with recent VW group cars? Just been away for a couple of weeks, came back to find that someone had rummaged through the interior of Mum's VW Golf Mk6 while on the (secluded) driveway of the house. Car was locked and alarmed before we went, same when we got back. Both keys were securely locked away and accounted for.

Police are sending someone out this morning to check for prints etc.

Slightly worrying...

What makes you so sure it was locked?

Using the fob locker you can grab the details and program them into a fob making that work with your car.

Same issue that BMW had with cloning keys last year maybe?
