Ok so heres the scenario, i have a database with one form inparticular that displays a postcode (aswell as other things, but the postcode is the important part), how can i take this postcode from the text box its in, then add it to a URL. So for example, next to the field ill have a button which says 'locate' or similar, this then opens a browser with the following URL : http://www.multimap.com/map/places.cgi?db=pc&place=POSTCODE

The postcode does NOT need the space by the way.

Thankyou for any help you can provide :)

you're welcome, it of course relies on internet explorer being there but I can't think of many systems that would have access and not internet explorer (you could always change it to FF to keep the microsoft haters happy :p)

That doesnt seem to work, but it doesn't do anything meaningful from the command line so it is not a huge surprise. It seems to require and exe to be called
