A friend has asked me to help him out. He buys gold (like on thoose annoying adverts) And currently uses an excel sheet to do calculations and print off a crude invoice.
He's looking to create a database with customer details (name address contact ect) Gold details (Weight / Karat ect) and print off invoices. I accepted this as i thought my limited access knowledge would be fine.
However i've run into a problem, i've created tables for the coustomers and gold and created forms the way he wants them. But the price of the gold changes daily and heneeds somewhere to update it.
I can't seem to get my head around how to link the Karat choice to a gold value (eg 8Karat is £10 per gram) And i'm a little lost
Just wondered if anyone can help me or if theres some good resources out there
