Access Intranet Externally

Hi guys,

well the titles pretty self explanatory.

Basically Ive set up an Intranet at the office (apache, php mysql & joomla) on one of the servers.

How easy would it be to access this intranet from outside the office and how can I do this?

If your behind a firewall configure the ports internally to allow external traffic to pass.

for example

http://[ipaddress]:3389 (or any port the web application uses)

Zen got it, I just came to boo at Joomla.

PHP-Fusion > Mambo > Joomla.

PHPNuke didn't like my server so that doesn't get a vote.

Zen by the IP address I guess you mean the internet address of the server hosting the intranet...if so...what if the internet ip is dynamic :S

you could use a dynamic dns service as mentioned above or just use the ip address depends if you have a static or dynamic address. good luck.
