Hi
just wondered if you could offer advice. I have a bluray player connected via ethernet cable to an Edimax 7206APG. Its setup in infrastructure mode and connected to my Belkin N1 Vision wirelessly. The Bluray player can access YouTube fine and also download firmware upgrades so it is connected to the internet okay.
However I can not see the Edimax on my LAN, if I open network and sharing centre (win7) it does not appear under network or under "see full map"
I thought I would be able to connect to its IP 192.168.2.50 (which is within the DHCP range of the router) and access the web interface. Only way I can do this is to go and get it and plug it into my PC using the ethernet cable.
I have a Linksys network wireless camera, also setup in infrastructure mode which does appear under network and full map in network and sharing centre and I can access the web interface okay via 192.168.2.80.
Is it just the fact that access points setup as infrastructure mode can not be access wirelessly from a PC connected to your LAN ?
