Hi,
I have an ASUS A8N-SLI mobo which I am about to put an Athlon X2 4200 and SATA drive on to. I also have and ATI X800 graphics card from which I run my flat screen LCD via the DVI connectors...
I want to try overclocking my new chip but using the DVI connections for my monitor, I can't get access to the BIOS utility... I get a 'no signal' message until windows boots....things are then find. I reset the BIOS via the internal battery and jumpers....no different. I then thought about it a bit laterally and connected the monitor via a normal VGA cable (ie analogue) and now I can see the BIOS messages and can access it normally...
Whats that all about then???? Obviously I don't really want to keep changing over if I want to access the BIOS.
TIA
TimS
