Accessing files on a sleeping iMac

Hi,

Not sure if this is possible, but it would be great if someone could tell me how to do this.

I have an iMac and connected to it is a DAS containing an SSD caddy with my SONOS music library on it.

For power saving the iMac goes to sleep 30 mins after I finish using it.

Is there a way that I can wake the iMac remotely (using my iPhone (iMac and iPhone both on the same WIFI network)) so that I can access the SONOS music library when I'm not in the room?

I have already enabled WAKE on LAN and downloaded an app to my iPhone which does indeed wake the iMac.

The only problem is the iMac then stays awake for about a minute then shuts down again. This results in my SONOS playing about a minute of the selected song before throwing an error stating the files cannot be found.

It is as though the iMac doesn't realise files are being accessed and thus shuts itself back down.

Is there a way of getting the iMac to switch on remotely for longer than a minute?

Many thanks in advance.
