Accessing network remotely......

I have heard of 'gotomypc.com' etc. Are these any good/any free software available which does the same.

I am on hols from tomorrow, but want to be able to access my home pc via my laptop that I am taking away for primarily accessing music/movies etc.

How can I do it?

Hi just playing with VNC and you are right re streaming......but can you not copy files and paste onto local machine?
