accessing old user on different install

Basically my vista went a bit werid so i did a fresh install on a seperate hard drive. But now i cant access all my file on the old install due to me being admistrator.
Is there any way of access it or am i gona hope to god that it still boots and doesnt crash before i move all the files in a different area?

I think if you right click on the folders you want and there should be a permissions or even open as administrator choice somewhere

You probably have to take ownership of the folder(s), unless you encrypted the files on the old install.
