¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I have sage line 50 running on a WinXP pro machine, and we have a secretary to adds all the data we need into sage.

Now, the manager wants to be able to view (not modify) the sage data from his machine, over the network. What would the easiest way of doing this?

If there some 3rd party app I can use? If not, I'm skilled in coding html, php and mysql. Maybe I could install apache+php+mysql on the secretaries machine, and have it serve up the sage data? Has anyone done this?

He could RDP onto the secretary's machine and view it.
I'm sure you can just buy another copy of sage and set it to access the data over the network (you'll have to share the date out from the secretary's machine or stick it on a server. (i may be wrong but I'm sure I've done it in the past)

Depends on your sage license, if you have a company license, you could share out the sage folder and on the second pc, run netsetup which installs the network client, then create a user in sage for them to log in with to view the data.

I "believe" that there is a company file that contains the path to the data after using Nsetup... only a hunch though ;)

RDP is a option - WinXP pro has it build in... I guess the main disadvantage would be that he could only view it when the secretary is not on her machine tho.

I'll have to check which license we have, as I wasn't the one who bought it. Hopefully it is a company one, with the option of a 2nd (networked) user.
