Accessing server mail on mobile?

Hi all,


I have a domain and email which I access via thunderbird.
What I would like to do is be able to look at any new mail on my Android. Problem is once I 'read' the mail on my phone - will I then have to resend it to myself to be able to get access to it on my PC?

Or, if I mark the mail as 'unread' from android, should I still be able to download once on PC?

Finally, what is a good email app for Android?
At the moment, I am accessing the mail on my phone via 'webmail' which is on my control panel inside vidahost. Which is a bit long winded.

So the built-in email app is perfectly adequate (and safe security-wise) for my needs?

Nope just goes in and syncs mate

Thanks, but are you not worried that if you were to loose your phone your emails and data were to be at risk?
