accessing steam game folders

ive just brought theater of war kursk 1943 on steam . The mission/map editor are accsesed through the game folder . but steam wont allow asscses to the game folder . Is there anyway to accsses steam game folders ??

Steam > Steamapps and the some games are in 'common' and some are in {username}
