Accessing the PS Store from a PC to start downloads

I know it's possible via PSP, but I don't own one and I'm aggrieved to buy one just for this and watching my Play TV content on the move.
Today is an excellent example of how useful it'd be, by the time I get home the PSN will be crippled by the Killzone 2 demo, so will take me hours to get it downloaded.
If I could log on to the store from work and start it off, at least I'd get an hour or so head start!
Have Sony made any noises about this yet?
I see that it's possible to do for 360 users on Live, is this a new function, or just one I didn't know much about?

I am sure it can be done by the psn website. I remember doing it for demo's in the past. You just have to link them both together.

I tried that, but it keeps banging on about installing this media management software to link the PC to a PSP?!

If it were possible, then I'd imagine so, the PS3 can be switched on remotely by the PSP, so I don't see why it couldn't be done online if Sony were to provide the relevant software.

I didn't realise that, would be an awesome feature - although PSN is blocked at work so actually wouldn't help me in the end anyways
