Morning all,

I currently have a Vista Desktop and an XP laptop and have just set up a home network where I can share the shared/public folders without a problem.

I want to be able however to share a couple of drives on my desktop, when I enable 'sharing', my laptop can see the drives but cannot access them (cannot access drive, may not have permissions blah blah....)

Going into the sharing properties of the drive, permissions is set to 'everybody', but if if try to add a group in the permissons (home nework), it wont let me - it only shows the desktop in the location?

Hope this is making sense......

Figured it out - I needed to add the 'Network' in the advanced tab of both sharing and security tabs.

Everythings groovy again. :)
