Im jumping ship from Android to iPhone. Ordered the 14 pro 256gb. Last iPhone I used was iPhone 5

Now I need to order a power brick. Currently using a OnePlus Nord. Came with a 30w power brick. Unfortunately it isn't USBC.

Is Anker the way forward in terms of ordering new power brick or should I just get one from Apple?

Same with charging cable. Need a extra cable for the car. Again Anker?
Is Spigen cases the go to?

Can someone explain Magsafe to me please.

Thanks.

iPhone 14 uses the old Apple proprietary Lightning connector according to the internet, so just get a whatever output your 30W brick has to Lightning cable.

Anker for the other block and cable or simply select the one from Amazon with the most 5 stars reviews.

Spigen cases have alway protected my iPhones from my being a clumsy fool and offered excellent grip without being too bulky. I’m still using an iPhone 7, so they might have declined in recent years.

Magsafe is Apple’s term for inductive charging and it works just the same as everyone else’s. Make sure you get a MagSafe compatible case as the Apple charging pucks used to be very hit and miss with thicker cases. Been 4 years since I used one so they might be much better now. The term comes from Apple’s magnetic charging cables for their MacBook laptops.

You can charge via MagSafe, it’s a magnetic puck that attaches to the back of the phone to wirelessly charge.

You’ll need a USB-C wall plug to use that:

Deal: USB C Plug, Anker 20W USB C Charger, 511 Charger (Nano Pro), PIQ 3.0 Durable Compact Fast Charger, Anker Nano Pro for iPhone 13/13 Mini/13 Pro/13 Pro Max/12, Galaxy, Pixel 4/3, iPad https://amzn.eu/2UeBfVF
Thanks for the links. Will have a look.

Yes , this is the exact wireless dock that I have to wirelessly charge my iPhone and other wireless phones since the Samsung S8. The iPhone 14 Pro will be no different.
