Accident caused by a wasp

This just happened to be but i diddnt cause an accident as the little begger diddnt get in the car.

what would happen if.

your on a busy road and a wasp flys into the car and is in your face trying to sting you, and with all the comotion you bump into the car in front

Would you still be liable for causing the accident ?

But its only a damned wasp, unless you have an allergy it aint worth the worry. They wont sting you for nothing. Just wind the window down and direct it out!

Dude I work with gets freaked out by them, and he doesnt have an allergy to them. But the idiot gets in a right flap, which is pretty scary when Im doing 60 on a dually in my wagon full of heavy headstones! Sometimes want to winf the window down and calmy push HIM out and ride with the wasp!

EDIT, Jebus, there wasnt even a single post when I typed this out. You lot "swarmed" on this post...see what I did there. hehe. Im a comedian! :rolleyes:

What is it that people are doing to make a wasp instantly sting them? If you are that scared, open your window and the wind will probably stop the wasp getting anywhere near you. If you aren't going fast enough and are that worried then you will be able to pull over.

Yea if a wasp was in my face I'd be like "oohhh ****" for a second, so I guess that could potentially cause a crash.

It's nobody else's fault though, you took your eyes off the road.

Wasps can be pretty vicious sometimes, bees are more friendly.

But yeah, I suppose wasp sting < car crash, but in the heat of the moment you'd probably try to avoid both and inadvertently do both.

anyone else have a friend who reckon they got away with crashing because they sneezed?! seems like one of those things that someone knows someone who... etc

seems odd, because if you have a crash, you have a crash, admit to your friends, how can you even prove such a thing let alone have the police and insurance company believe you.
