I was in a accident yesterday evening and I think my car is probably a write off.

I reported the accident to my insurance company last night, this morning I get a call from her insurance company to say she has accepted full liability. Then said do I want go through them for the claim, I was assuming I would go through my own insurance company. But now I am not sure. What is the usual protocol in these situations?

Thanks

If she was at fault and indeed has accepted liability then there should be no issue with dealing with her insurer (it is in their interest to deal with you direct to keep costs down)

In theory as long as you've let your insurer know that you were involved in an incident, then that should be all you need to do.

@Armageus thank you for the quick response. Yes she has accepted liability and was at fault.

My insurance are aware. I will give them a call to say I am proceeding with her insurance company?

Thanks again
