Does anyone know how I can stop or avoid pressing Ctrl-Enter whilst writing an email? My rapid fire typing sometimes causes a half-written email to send out prematurely when I mash keys on opposite sides of the keyboard. I've done this a number of times now and its a bit embarrassing and confusing for the recipient.

When pressing Ctrl-Backspace to delete words, i sometimes hit Return. Doh!

How do I turn off instant send? Using Outlook 2003 btw.

There is an option for Outlook buried in the options, this is 2007 but I'm 90% sure it's identical in 2003

I usually write the e-mail first and then add in the recipients at the end, rather than adding them first. That way it's guaranteed not to go out until your totally done.

If it's an important reply, I sometimes cut the email address and paste it back in later.
