I have got three accounts on my PC running XP SP2.

When my son tries to log off his account it takes ages, 5mins+, for it to get to the Windows log off screen and then hangs there for another 5 or so mins before the screen goes black. During this time the keyboard doesn't work and I have to turn off to reboot. The other two accounts are absolutely fine. He plays Silkroad and Americas Army on the internet. Any ideas what is causing this problem? I am currently running my anti virus programme in case it picks something up but doubt if thats the problem as it is only his account that suffers the problem.

Well AVG reports no viruses so any ideas?

What if I delete his account then make it again? Would I lose all his files?

In Event Viewer I'm getting a message ESENT saying database stopped which may coincide with the problem - something to do with Windows Messenger. I need to do some more investigation but I wondered if this meant anything???

I don't think its to do with ESENT as he played his games on his sisters account last night and that account wouldn't log off.

Has anybody got any ideas please????
