account hacked after buying from origin store

I Brought bf3 from origin store digital download and a company called digital river took the money, it looks like ea use them to receive payments.

Digital river-Luxembourg took the money out of my account on the 28th october.
On the 3rd november my account was charged using my card with 6 purchases from itunes store usd-Luxembourg

I never made these orders.
I live in spain,these are the charges all on the 3rd in this order, the three large payments are 149.99 usd converted into the euro rate.

5.€0.73
6.€108.98

I have cancelled my card and am trying to claim the money back from my bank, they are saying its my fault for buying online.

I am sure this is something to do with digital river as i dont use my card and only purchased this game and both company's are from Luxembourg

I wrote an email to ea and digital river Monday but have had no replies.

What do you think.

sounds like you may have someone spying on your pc maybe ?
i would think you would be able to claim it back as the pc that made the purchases on itunes should traceable i would have thought
 
Its not your fault at all, thats gibberish
Someone is stealing from you at the end of the day, report it to the police and I'm sure the bank will have little option but to take action to recoup your monies
 
Where else have you used your card? Someone has certainly stolen the details and used it. Do you have a third part like an ombudsman you can complain to? Iggy may also take a while to respond to your complaint...

I would also scan your pc for malware too...
 
I haven't used my card anywhere else, just seems a too much of a coincidence that when i use it, i get scammed and there both from Luxembourg, the bank might reimburse me most of the money excluding the commission fees as they say they cant do anything about this.
I have to wait 2 -3 months to find out if i wiil get money back for some reason?
 
tbh its things like this that made me start using my credit card for online purchases only. If the bank loses money they will run like mad to get it back because end of the day its their money so they will have more incentive to get it back.

If its your money they couldnt care less. Banks are mean :(
 
I had my card used by some fool purchasing subscriptions to us porn sites, the bank basically didnt believe me. I think the proof came when the card details didnt fully match ie expiry date and my address.

I had my card stopped and got my money back but I dont like arclays very much for the way they treated me at the time. I think you should be able to get your money back if you go the police route and one you have your money change your bank!
