Accounting software?

Couple of my mates have opened up a burger van near one of the local beaches where I live and have asked me if I know of any decent but easy to use accounting software. Naturally I don't have the first clue whats available let alone what to suggest. Can anyone advise what dedicated accounting software might be useful for them? TIA

p.s. Their lamb burgers are outstanding!

Paint?

I would imagine Excel being a good choice.

To start with, they can just set up spreadsheets with sales/ purchases.

Sage is, in my opinion, the best software out there, but it does take some getting used to if you aren't accountancy minded. It's also very expensive.

Just tell them to use excel. No need for bookkeeping software if it's a burger van.

I can't see sage or quickbooks etc giving any advantage for them.

+1 Excel. It's not like you'll be making millions and employing tons of staff.
