Ace FTP

Just installed ACE FTP and it says it has drag and drop functionality but it doesn;t seem to allow me to drag a file from a folders window over to a panel on the program to upload it like nearly all other ftp programs.

Is there anything I am doing wrong?

maybe they mean drag and drop from the left window?

i just use filezilla

I personaly prefer to use SmartFTP, looks good and loads of functions including Drag and Drop from anywhere.

Filezilla is great.

I wouldn't touch Ace FTP, as you have to install a toolbar (spyware) to even install it. Check the reviews, then install Filezilla.

Right, removed Ace FTP and cleared the addon programs, didn;t even know they came with it. Running Anti Spyware now just in case. I ahve installed File Zilla and ahve a few questions about it.

How can you make it connect to a certain site profile on opening?
How can you stop it disconnecting from the site every so often?
Is there a "Folder Up" button when navigating remote and local folder trees?
Is there a remote and local "New Folder" button?

Are you using the paid for version of Smart FTP? If so what version? and if not then what version?
