Always worth asking before buying on here:

Looking for a laptop for a small medical society to run mainly presentations/video.

Got about 600 quid

Im tempted by the acer (i have a 13" already, which is fine though the keyboard is cheap compared to my lenovo which I love)

Any thoughts or anyone seen anything similar out there.

Head over to the dell outlet, you might get a far better deal that way. I would personally stay away from Acer, they make poor quality laptops; I would know, I bought one... will not repeat mistake

having owned both Acer and Dell I can say that Dell quality > Acer's

Im unsure of acer, any views on samsung. I know they make nice screens. Good price.

that is an oldish system now and the graphics are 3 generations old as we are on the 5x series now.

really no reason to take this over the acer 57x
