I'm thinking of buying a desktop replacement this summer, tired of lugging the desktop from uni and back, plus when I come home for weekends I have no decent PC to use
.
I've been used to a 20" monitor for 3 years now, so don't want to downsize too much. The Acer has an 18" screen, so it should be plentiful. Also I enjoy the odd few games, you know, CSS, Splinter cell etc, so the 9500m GS should be fine at a res of 1920 x 1080 for gaming with the old ish games. Also liking the blu ray drive, the total of the laptop is ~ £1030 for the one I'm looking at.
Has anybody actually had any experience with them? I really don't know why but upon speculation there was an uproar in amazement on many websites due to it being the first 16:9 laptop display, but since their launch in April I can't find one single review for them? Its confusing
Hoping someone can help me out here, I don't know if there is something wrong with them or are they excellent machines?
