Acer AL1916W big improvment over VP171s?

I want a new widescreen monitor for games But I dont want to spend money if the differance over my Viewsonic VP171s is not obvious with my ne X1900XTX.
I have read many threads but don't know if its worth it over what I have. I cant view many monitors as local stores limited range
Advice please.

Well, i did have a Viewsonic 17'' TFT and i have seen the Acer 19'' WS TFT and the pic quality looks the same. Must admit to having a preference over the ACER. Looking to buy one next week. Just getting as much info as possible first.
