Hi,

Opted for a Acer Aspire 4810t:-

Intel Core 2 Solo processor SU3500(1.4Ghz, 800Mhz, 3MB Cache)
Windows Vista (R) Home Premium
3GB Memory
14in, 16:9 screen (1,366 x 768)
250GB Hard drive
Up to 8 hours battery life,
Webcam,
Wireless-N connectivity,
HDMI connectivity
1.9kg

I really liked the feel of the keyboard and the fantastic battery life (claimed 8 hours) sold me to be honest.

Understated looks but feels solid and build quality seems pretty good IMHO, tempted to whack a SSD in it when Windows7 RTM's

Cost £549, I know there are much more powerful machines out there with all singing/dancing GFX but that's not what I wanted from a laptop.

Bought a 6935 two weeks ago for £549.

Very pleased with it. Not tried gaming yet but it does everything with ease so far.

Note; the graphics WAS advertised as a 9600 M GT BUT is actually a 9600 m GS. Not sure what the difference is but maybe best to thoroughly check.

cheers
