Hi all,
I have lately been trying to resurrect the gf's Acer Aspire 5103WMLi from a complety corrupted Windows install.
I've put XP Home back on it from my XP Home disc using the code under the laptop and acquired the drivers from acers site. All the drivers have gone on perfectly except for one... the wireless driver.
The laptop appears to have the Broadcom wifi card and having run the Broadcom installer, a new found hardware box popped up to install a network controller. Allowing the installer to install the controller or attempting to install it myself through add new hardware always fails as it cannot find the necessary software and the Device manager gives the general information for it as not being configured correctly
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this network card to install?
Cheers!
