Acer Aspire 5610 BIOS flash

Sorry if this is a dumb question, haven't flashed a BIOS for a while. Last time was with a floppy.

Acer Aspire 5610. The BIOS is about 5 years old.

I want to flash from v1.80 to v.3.60.
The utility is run from windows.
Is it a foolproof process?

Has anyone flashed the BIOS on one of these?

Generally straight forward just make sure no other programs running, and battery is charged and plugged into mains.
