As in thread title my little sisters Acer laptop keeps getting stuck in a continuous boot cycle and the only way to stop it is to take out the battery.
It gets to the first acer splash screen then reboots after about 5 seconds.
Occasionally after a battery removal it will manage to load into windows (7 64) and run fine but the problem starts again after a reboot.
I've run all the usual scans with MWB, antivirus etc and a checkdisc and it's all come up clear and i've searched t'webs for solutions and it seems quite a widespread problem. Causes ranging from loose solder on the graphics card to a corrupt boot loader have been mentioned but i'm not sure how i'd find out.
Anyone got any suggestions before I alt f10 and restore to factory default?
