I can get this for £800 Delivered, what do you guys reckon?

You sure for £680 with the 8100 and bluray drive? The one listed lower have no bluray drive and a slower CPU.

The gpu is pretty decent, obviously not a crysis killer but should be okay for the odd game of fear etc. Would recommend looking for some reviews to get some input on real world battery life, niggles etc

Yea it seems the 9500 is 10% quicker than the 8600 also is cooler so that’s good, the laptop is aimed at entertainment hence the 16' HD display.

It's a 16:9 screen, reason why "funny resolution" so for movies ideal screen shape. I think a higher end acer of the same range has 1920x1080 res, so if you're watching a lot of blu-ray titles I'd go for that.

Yep that’s exactly it mate :D It is an ideal media machine, has some good audio stuff installed as well, Looks a cracker!

Audio out:Optimised 2nd Generation Dolby Home Theater® audio enhancement, featuring Dolby® Digital, Dolby® Digital Live, Dolby® Pro Logic® IIx, Dolby® Headphone, Dolby® Natural Bass and Dolby® Sound Space Expander technologies
