My brother is leaving the UK in a few weeks he is selling his Acer Aspire 9920G

I have the chance to buy his laptop for £800 , might even sell my Dell 1720 , what do you think

similar spec 1720's seem to be goin for £500 and upwards on auction sites its very variable on what they will fetch. if you can live with the bulk of the acer and you dont plan on being mobile then go for it. you will be losing that fantastic hi res screen though can you live with that
