My friend recently recently got an Acer Laptop along with Linpus Linux. He formatted and installed Windows XP. But he did not find any drivers that support his model online. If you know the drivers please provide the information. :)

I can only find Win 7 drivers? According to the Acer site this is only Win 7 compatible, not XP or Vista?

This is a pretty new notebook right? a 2010/11 model. Assuming it is the 2010/11 one why would you not run Win 7?

I assume you mate has the recovery disks and/or left the recovery partition? Guessing your mate has trollololed himself on this one.

Thanks for giving reply. He is using win7 right now. He completely wiped all the partitions [removed Linux] after purchase and tried to install Windows XP for which he did not get suitable drivers. Yesterday he installed Win7 on his laptop which works fine and is a new 2011 model.
