Acer Aspire One - How to see network shares?
Its the linux version, and I would like to be able to mount/use my network drive.

Thanks,
Sam C

What type of server is your network share on?

Google for guides on how to mount network shares in linux. My linux knowledge is very basic but I've always found nice easy guides to follow.

If you want to make the shares permanent then you will have to mount then in /etc/fstab. Search the term "mount shares fstab".

Also, you will get a lot more help in the linux forum. Your query is more OS/Network related and not laptop.

Cool, thanks for that. No longer an issue as I am tearing it apart and upgrading to a 30gb 1.8" hdd and 1.5gb ram and putting xp on it.. Linpus is too limiting for my needs.

Thanks,
Sam C
