Acer Aspire One Intel Atom Hyper D255

Can anyone tell me if these are good/bad.

The CPU is an "Intel Atom Hyper Threading N455 @ 1.66 GHz"
It has 1gb of ram, although you can apparently upgrade this to 2.
It's most likely gonna be running Debian linux (unless someone recomends something lighter that would be a little more nipppy)

It's main uses are gonna be

-Taking notes at college
-Watching youtube in bed
-Listening to music
-Remoting into my proper PC.

If it can do all these things adequately I'm ready to press buy.

Unless it is stupidly cheap, l would look to a AMD APU netbook, which will run YouTube (in my experience) a lot smoother.

Unless it's real cheap. IMO I would get a tablet for them uses 99-180 or better get a high end tablet that is a book like vivotab (just eg)

Never thought I'd hear myself say this, but i'd agree with Tony. For basic use like that, the tablet is probably going to be faster. Unless, as said, it's really cheap.
