Acer BX320HK HDMI version

I'm trying to see if this monitor has version 2.0 for HDMI to allow 60fps. I want
Future proofing for new consoles that play 4k.

I've checked the manual and various websites and most say:

High-bandwidth HDMI 2.0**

The asterisks being "varies depending on model"

Others websites list it as HDMI MHL, not sure if that gives a clue as to the version?

I think after more reading it's not 2.0. The search continues for a monitor.

I own that very monitor, and it's not hdmi 2.0, but it is gorgeous

Do you use scaling? It's the main thing putting me off 4k.

Nope I don't, but then again I have a 1080 and don't find I need it

I was talking about Windows scaling. At the typical viewing distance of a 32" everything will be too small to read in native 4k. This will mean using Windows Scaling.

No my comment stands, I sit around 4 ft from it, and I dont find that I need any scaling

I use windows scaling and it's fine...I've still got a 980GTX and play some more demanding games at 1080p and it scales them well (I'm sure some will disagree!) 1440p doesn't play as well as 1080p (1080p - 4k goes)
